UFOs are Seen on Radar
Reports of UFO sightings have been made for many years, and some of these reports involve the sighting of unidentified flying objects on radar.
When something is seen on radar, it means that there is a physical object present in the airspace. Radar works by emitting radio waves and detecting the reflected waves that bounce back from objects in the path of the emitted waves. When an object is detected on radar, it means that the radio waves have reflected off the object and bounced back to the radar system. This indicates that there is a physical object present in the airspace.
The sighting of UFOs on radar is considered significant because it suggests that there may be an actual physical object present in the airspace. Here are some examples of UFO sightings that were detected on radar:
- The 1952 Washington D.C. UFO Incident: This incident involved multiple sightings of UFOs over Washington D.C., which caused air traffic to be suspended and prompted the scramble of military fighter jets. The objects were seen on radar and by numerous witnesses, and reportedly displayed advanced flight capabilities such as sudden changes in direction and high speeds. The incident remains unexplained to this day.
- The 1978 Kaikoura Lights Incident: This incident occurred in New Zealand when a group of pilots reported seeing strange lights in the sky. The objects were also detected on radar and appeared to be moving at high speeds. The incident was investigated by the New Zealand Air Force, but no explanation was given.
