Jim Semivan
Jim Semivan is a well-respected figure in the fields of intelligence, security, and the investigation of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Jim Semivan obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from the Ohio University, and later, he completed his Master of Arts in International Relations from the American University, Washington D.C. Semivan also attended the Defense Intelligence College, which is now known as the National Intelligence University, as part of his professional development.
Semivan’s employment background is rooted in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he served for 25 years as a senior operations officer in the Directorate of Operations. He was responsible for overseeing a wide range of intelligence operations, including espionage, covert action, and counterintelligence. Semivan’s expertise in the field of intelligence and security has made him a sought-after consultant in both the public and private sectors.

Regarding his relationship with UAP and UFO phenomena, Semivan has been open about his personal experiences. Jim Semivan is the co-author of the book “Sekret Machines: Gods, Man & War,” written alongside Tom DeLonge and Peter Levenda. This book serves as the first volume of the “Sekret Machines” non-fiction trilogy, which aims to explore the historical, technological, and cultural aspects of the UFO phenomenon. Semivan’s role as a co-author highlights his extensive knowledge and expertise in the field.
Semivan has been featured in several documentaries and TV shows, such as “Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation,” which is a History Channel documentary series that investigates into the Pentagon’s secret UFO program.
In December 2017, The New York Times published an article titled “Glowing Auras and ‘Black Money’: The Pentagon’s Mysterious U.F.O. Program,” which discussed the existence of a secret Department of Defense program to investigate UFO encounters. This article brought attention to the involvement of TTSA and its members, including Semivan, in revealing the program’s existence and advocating for more transparency around UAP and UFO research.
As a founding member of TTSA, Semivan has played a critical role in the organization’s efforts to promote scientific research and collaboration on UAP and UFO phenomena. TTSA has initiated various projects, such as the ADAM Research Project, aimed at analyzing materials collected from UAP encounters, and the VAULT, a digital database that provides researchers with access to a wealth of information on UAP cases.
