Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation Documentary

Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation is a documentary series that explores the issue of UFO sightings in the United States. The series follows Luis Elizondo, a former military intelligence officer, and his team as they investigate and analyze UFO sightings reported by military personnel, pilots, and civilians. The series claims to provide evidence that suggests that there is a real phenomenon occurring in our skies that cannot be easily explained.

“Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation” is a six-part documentary series that premiered on the History Channel in 2019. The series is produced by A+E Originals and To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science, a company founded by former Blink-182 musician Tom DeLonge and other individuals with backgrounds in science, intelligence, and aerospace.

The issue of UFO sightings has been a topic of interest for many years. The first recorded sighting of a UFO in the United States occurred in 1947, when a pilot reported seeing flying objects in the sky near Roswell, New Mexico.

Here are facts that support this claim:

  1. In 2017, Luis Elizondo, the former head of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) at the Pentagon, disclosed that the program had investigated sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), also known as UFOs, for over a decade. Elizondo claims that the program collected evidence that suggests that these UAPs were not of human origin and exhibited flight capabilities that far exceeded any known aircraft.
  2. In April 2020, the U.S. Department of Defense released three declassified videos of UAP sightings, which were previously leaked to the public in 2017 and 2018. The videos, which were captured by U.S. Navy pilots, show unidentified flying objects that appear to defy the laws of physics and maneuver in ways that are not possible for conventional aircraft. The release of these videos has raised questions about the true nature of these UAPs and has led to renewed interest in the issue.
  3. In a report released in June 2021, the U.S. government acknowledged that UAPs exist and are a legitimate national security concern. The report, which was compiled by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, stated that UAPs exhibit flight characteristics that are not currently within the capabilities of known technologies and that their origin and nature are not yet understood.

One example of an expert who supports the claim that UFO sightings may be evidence of extraterrestrial life is Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb. In his book “Extraterrestrial: The First Sign of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth,” Loeb argues that an object that passed through our solar system in 2017, known as ‘Oumuamua, may have been an artificial object sent by an extraterrestrial civilization.
