Petition for UAP Legislation

In an era where the call for clarity around Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) is louder than ever, the UAP Disclosure Fund has emerged as a key player. Established in December 2023, this nonpartisan political nonprofit 501(c)(4) is dedicated to advocating for government transparency and promoting scientific research into UAP. With a mission to foster a greater understanding of these phenomena, the fund actively supports new legislation, provides legal representation for whistleblowers, and aims to elevate public awareness and engagement through educational initiatives.

The UAP Disclosure Fund is steered by a group of distinguished individuals who bring a wealth of experience and expertise. Luis Elizondo, a former head of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, serves on the board, offering invaluable insights from his time overseeing UAP investigations at the Pentagon. Alongside him is Garry Nolan, a Stanford University professor known for his work in the Department of Pathology, who bridges the gap between advanced science and the world of UAP.

The board also includes Karl E. Nell, an aerospace executive and retired senior military officer with a deep understanding of corporate strategy and defense mechanisms, and Christopher K. Mellon, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, whose previous role as Staff Director of the Senate Intelligence Committee underscores his advocacy for UAP transparency. Kirk McConnell, another member of the advisory board, brings his extensive legislative experience as a former senior staffer for the U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services to the table.

Leading the strategic direction of the fund is Yuan Fung, the Executive Director, whose background as a political strategist and creative director is pivotal in guiding the fund’s mission. Matthew Ford, Director of Strategy and the creator of The Good Trouble Show with Matt Ford, plays a crucial role in shaping the fund’s outreach and advocacy efforts. Managing the financial operations is Chief Financial Officer Lesley Duckworth, who ensures that the resources are judiciously used to support the organization’s objectives.

The UAP Disclosure Fund is currently championing a petition to include a new version of the UAP amendment in the 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Targeting key legislators like U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senators Mike Rounds, Kirsten Gillibrand, Marco Rubio, Todd Young, and Martin Heinrich, the initiative seeks to secure ongoing commitment to UAP legislation. This advocacy underscores the importance of accountability and continued legislative effort to ensure that UAP phenomena are not only acknowledged but thoroughly investigated.

As the fund continues its work, it invites public participation and support through its website and encourages followers to stay updated via their official Twitter page here. By signing the petition and joining the disclosure movement, individuals can contribute to a future where the mysteries surrounding UAP are not just explored but understood.
