Covert Psi Child Recruitment Using Gifted Education Screening

Covert Psi Child Recruitment Using Gifted Education Screening

The well-documented pattern of children’s unusually strong involvement in UFO and UAP encounters has taken on a far more disturbing dimension in recent years. Multiple lines of testimony and whistleblower accounts now suggest that the same qualities making children frequent witnesses — their exceptional neuroplasticity, openness to anomalous perception, and innate intuitive or psychic sensitivities — have allegedly been identified, screened, and secretly recruited by classified programs. Using legitimate gifted and talented education initiatives as cover, particularly on military bases, these programs are accused of targeting psychically gifted children to serve as human interfaces for reverse-engineered UAP technology.

Constitutional attorney and UFO/UAP disclosure advocate Daniel Sheehan has made explosive public claims about secret unacknowledged special access programs that allegedly recruited and exploited psychically gifted psi children through public education systems, particularly on military bases. In the May 29, 2026 interview titled “Psionic Tech & Alien Contact: UAP Disclosure with Danny Sheehan” on the PortalToAscension channel, with the psi-children segment beginning around the 38-minute mark, Sheehan stated:

“They set up a program on the military bases where they have military schools for the children of the military people and their workers. And they started giving them tests uh called the GATE program, the gifted and talented uh children uh purporting to be looking for the intellectually or intelligent kids. But at the same time they were testing them for psychic abilities as well. And when they discovered some of these kids that had these kind of psychic capabilities, they went to their parents and lied to them… ‘Oh, your child is extraordinarily intelligent… We’re going to give them a special scholarship… a special school.’ And they brought them to this school uh that turns out to be on the property of Northrop Grumman… where they test these craft.”

Sheehan explains that the retrieved UAP craft use a semi-sentient biological interface — a helmet linked to actual brain tissue and synapses inside the vehicle — making the craft partially conscious and responsive only to telepathic or psionic communication. Standard left-brain linear-thinking fighter pilots could not operate it effectively. According to Sheehan, attempts to train them resulted in severe brain damage, and he says the programs lost a number of multi-million dollar trained US fighter pilots and killed them in the process. This failure allegedly prompted the shift to recruiting naturally psychic children. Sheehan claims the drive to weaponize the technology for rapid global strike capabilities, to deliver nuclear warheads into Russia or China within seconds, led to extreme measures. He states:

“Because they’re so driven to try to create a weapons delivery platform using this technology to deliver nuclear warheads into Russia or China within seconds they’re drugging kids with amphetamines and frying their brains out… This is a horrible scandal that’s going on inside the program, they’re pleading with us not to tell anybody about it.”

Sheehan explicitly names Northrop Grumman property, widely associated with facilities such as Palmdale in California, as the site of the alleged training school. Northrop Grumman operates major classified aerospace integration and testing sites and maintains public STEM outreach programs, but no independent evidence confirms any psi-related facility.

GATE, also known as Gifted and Talented Education, is a legitimate longstanding U.S. educational initiative for academically advanced students. It expanded in the 1970s following the 1972 Marland Report and was supported nationally by the Jacob K. Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education Program. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) operates gifted and advanced academic services on military bases using tools such as the Cognitive Abilities Test for identification and focusing on academic enrichment.

A parallel account exists in Canada. Desta Barnabe, a Canadian author and psychic, published the book MK-ULTRA for Children: The Hunt for Psychic Abilities Through the G.A.T.E. Program in late 2025. She describes being placed in a special elementary school enrichment program called the Green Group, which she presents as the Canadian equivalent to the U.S. GATE program. Barnabe reports experiences including mysterious nap times, psychic testing through puzzle games, dissociation, and later-recovered memories that she links to possible psychic priming or experimentation.

Canada also has a documented history of government-linked mind-control experimentation that provides important historical precedent. From 1948 to 1964 at McGill University’s Allan Memorial Institute in Montreal, Dr. Donald Ewen Cameron conducted extreme psychiatric experiments under MKULTRA Subproject 68. These included drug-induced comas, sensory deprivation, intensive electroshock, hallucinogenic drugs such as LSD, and “psychic driving” through repeated audio messages.

The Canadian government provided funding and support for portions of this work. In July 2025 the Superior Court of Québec authorized a class action lawsuit on behalf of victims, families, and estates against the Government of Canada, McGill University, and related institutions.

Project SOAR appears in survivor accounts as an alleged 1980s precursor or parallel program linked to gifted education channels. The legitimate public GATE programs focus on academic enrichment. Danny Sheehan and associated researchers allege that classified programs covertly used GATE identification processes — especially on military bases and DoDEA schools — as a screening tool to identify children with psychic or enhanced perceptual abilities. Survivor accounts and independent investigations describe standard GATE academic assessments supplemented with targeted perceptual and psi-oriented tests. These reportedly included unusual hearing tests involving bulky headphones and binaural entrainment tones (some with masked hypnotic speech, as captured in the recovered 1987 Auditory Assessment cassette), administration of Formulation C-7, redacted school records, and observations for anomalous perceptual abilities. Evidence for the alleged psi recruitment remains circumstantial and comes from independent investigations and survivor accounts.

The 2026 documentary Psychic Agent: The Gate Program, directed by Ryder Lee and released on June 5, 2026, examines these allegations and is currently available on Plex. These allegations sit at the intersection of ufology, parapsychology, and government accountability. They raise profound ethical and legal questions involving parental consent, human-subject research protections, potential exploitation of minors, and contractor liability.

The longstanding children-UFO connection — visible in countless schoolyard sightings, early childhood abduction reports, and consistent global patterns — may represent more than a passive phenomenon. If the claims surrounding covert psi recruitment through gifted education screening hold any truth, then the very openness and neuroplasticity that make children exceptional witnesses have allegedly been weaponized. What began as unexplained encounters in fields and bedrooms may have evolved, in some cases, into systematic identification and exploitation inside classified programs tied to UAP reverse-engineering.
