Doreen Kendall Sighting (1970)

According to reports, Doreen Kendall was a nurse working at the Cowichan Hospital on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. On the night of August 9, 1970, while working the night shift, she looked out the window and saw a large, bright object hovering about 60 feet away from the hospital.

Kendall described the object as being about 60 feet in diameter, with a bright, pulsating light emanating from the center. She also claimed to have seen two humanoid figures inside the craft, one of whom looked directly at her. Kendall further stated that she felt a sense of calm and peace during the encounter, as if the beings were communicating with her telepathically.

The incident was investigated by a local UFO researcher named Brian Vike, who spoke with Kendall and several other witnesses. Vike also reportedly found evidence of burn marks and radiation at the location where Kendall claimed to have seen the object.

The incident received media attention and has been the subject of several books and documentaries. One such book is “The Canadian UFO Report” by Chris Rutkowski, which provides a comprehensive overview of UFO sightings in Canada, including Kendall’s encounter.

Doreen Kendall’s 1970 UFO sighting near the Cowichan Hospital on Vancouver Island is a well-known incident in Canadian UFO lore.
