EBANI Worms
EBANI worms, or Entidades Biológicas Anómalas No Identificadas (Unidentified Anomalous Biological Entities), have piqued the curiosity of many UFO enthusiasts, researchers, and laypeople alike since the first sightings in the early 2000s. These mysterious, elongated, and seemingly organic objects have been spotted in various parts of the world, appearing to exhibit behaviors consistent with living organisms, such as undulating and coordinated movements. The phenomena have garnered attention and speculation, with some individuals arguing for extraterrestrial origins, while others attribute the sightings to secret military technology or natural atmospheric occurrences.
Various instances of EBANI worm sightings have been documented over the past two decades, with notable sightings in Mexico, the United States, and Europe. In 2005, Mexican UFO researcher Ana Luisa Cid documented a sighting in Mexico City, where a worm-like object appeared to move independently in the sky (Source: Ana Luisa Cid, “EBANIs: ¿Entidades biológicas en el espacio aéreo?,” 2005). The scientific community has not reached a consensus on the nature or origin of EBANI worms. However, some researchers have proposed explanations for the phenomena. Dr. Richard Haines, a former senior research scientist at NASA and current Chief Scientist at the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena (NARCAP), has suggested that some EBANI sightings could be the result of atmospheric plasma, a state of matter consisting of ionized gas particles that can emit light and move in coordinated ways (Source: Dr. Richard Haines, “A Plasma-Based Explanation for Ebanis,” NARCAP Technical Report, 2010).
UFO researcher and author Jaime Maussan, in his book “Los Grandes Misterios de los OVNIs” (The Great Mysteries of UFOs), presents several accounts of EBANI sightings and argues that these objects are of extraterrestrial origin.

While some propose that these EBANI worms are evidence of extraterrestrial life or advanced military technology, others argue for more mundane explanations, such as atmospheric phenomena or misidentifications.
